No mês, foram realizadas 1.249.333 operações de investimento em títulos do programa, totalizando R$ 8,77 bilhões. Os resgates e vencimentos somaram R$ 3,94 bilhões, o que resultou na emissão líquida.

As aplicações de até R$ 1 mil representaram 61,3% das operações de investimento no mês. O valor médio por operação foi de R$ 7.019,82.

Os títulos indexados à taxa Selic foram os mais demandados pelos investidores no mês passado, totalizando R$ 5 bilhões em vendas (57,5% do total). Já os títulos indexados à inflação somaram R$ 2,2 bilhões (24,9% do total), enquanto os prefixados alcançaram R$ 1,6 bilhão (17,7% do total).

Nos resgates antecipados, predominaram os títulos indexados à taxa Selic, que somaram R$ 2,8 bilhões (71,5%). Os títulos remunerados por índices de preços totalizaram R$ 757,6 milhões (19,3%), e os prefixados, R$ 361,8 milhões (9,2%).

Quanto ao prazo, a maior parcela das vendas se concentrou nos títulos com vencimento entre 1 e 5 anos, que alcançaram 51% do total. As aplicações em títulos com vencimento entre 5 e 10 anos representaram 35,8%, enquanto os papéis com vencimento acima de 10 anos corresponderam a 13,2%.

Em setembro, o estoque do programa fechou em R$ 279,3 bilhões, um aumento de 2,7% em relação ao mês anterior (R$ 272 bilhões) e de 43% sobre setembro de 2025 (R$ 195,3 bilhões).

Os títulos remunerados por índices de preços se mantêm como os mais representativos do estoque, totalizando R$ 130,4 bilhões, ou 46,7% do total. Na sequência, estão os papéis indexados à Selic, com R$ 110,3 bilhões (39,5%), e os títulos prefixados, que somaram R$ 38,6 bilhões (13,8%).

Quanto ao perfil de vencimento dos títulos em estoque, a parcela com vencimento em até 1 ano era de R$ 20,1 bilhões (7,2%) no fim de setembro. A parcela com vencimento entre 1 e 5 anos somava R$ 134,6 bilhões (48,2%), e o montante acima de 5 anos alcançava R$ 124,6 bilhões (44,6%).

O total de investidores ativos no Tesouro Direto em setembro, isto é, aqueles com saldo em aplicações no programa, atingiu 3.924.677 pessoas, um aumento de 92.224 investidores no mês. Em 12 meses, o crescimento foi de 22,3%.

Já o número de investidores cadastrados no programa aumentou em 307.225, atingindo 36.746.622 pessoas, crescimento de 9,6% em relação a setembro de 2025.
