Com essa projeção do TCU indicando uma alíquota 30% superior à estimativa anteriormente divulgada pelo Comitê Gestor, os tributos passam a representar custo efetivo”, disse Francisco Balestrin, presidente da FeSaúde e SinHosp, entidades de estabelecimentos de saúde.

Nas projeções anteriores, que consideravam uma alíquota de 9,21%, os hospitais sem fins lucrativos teriam um equilíbrio ou pequena redução de tributos.

Já para os hospitais com fins lucrativos, que podem recuperar créditos de CBS e do Imposto sobre Bens e Serviços (IBS), Balestrin destaca que “esses estabelecimentos poderão enfrentar impactos relevantes no fluxo de caixa, ainda que não necessariamente no resultado econômico. Isso porque em um cenário de juros elevados no Brasil, o intervalo entre o recolhimento dos tributos e a recuperação dos créditos pode gerar um custo financeiro expressivo.”

O presidente das entidades diz ainda que os efeitos da reforma não se restringem aos hospitais, alcançando também clínicas, laboratórios, fornecedores e demais prestadores de serviços de saúde.
