O lucro líquido da empresa sul-coreana mais do que triplicou, atingindo 39,8 trilhões de wons.

Na comparação trimestral, o lucro operacional cresceu 38%, enquanto a receita subiu 32%. A margem operacional da companhia atingiu 80% no trimestre entre julho e setembro — um avanço em relação aos 76% registrados no trimestre anterior —, evidenciando sua elevada lucratividade.

O desempenho excepcional da SK Hynix — fornecedora estratégica de chips de memória de alta largura de banda (HBM) para a fabricante americana Nvidia — ocorre em um momento em que investidores demonstram preocupação, devido à volatilidade dos mercados acionários, quanto aos vultosos investimentos em IA realizados por gigantes da tecnologia, como Google, Meta e OpenAI.

Na sexta-feira, a empresa sul-coreana anunciou que a Solidigm, sua unidade nos EUA dedicada à fabricação de chips de memória NAND, interrompeu a análise de opções para uma oferta pública inicial (IPO), justificando que "a volatilidade no mercado financeiro aumentou, contribuindo para uma correção mais ampla nas ações do setor de semicondutores".

Contudo, analistas avaliam que os resultados trimestrais da SK Hynix ainda não atingiram seu pico e que a trajetória de crescimento deve continuar, pelo menos, ao longo do próximo ano.

A SK Hynix também anunciou um dividendo especial, decidindo distribuir 14 trilhões de wons — o equivalente a 20.000 wons por ação — aos seus acionistas até o final de novembro, utilizando recursos provenientes de seu investimento na fabricante japonesa de chips Kioxia.
