Nossos números refletem esse contexto, mas também mostram um banco que está realizando ajustes importantes para fortalecer sua capacidade de crescimento sustentável”, afirma em nota Gilson Finkelsztain, CEO do Santander Brasil. “Continuamos o avanço na carteira de crédito, com uma relação mais equilibrada entre risco, retorno e uso de capital e na busca por maior eficiência. O próximo passo é uma recuperação gradual da rentabilidade.”

O terceiro maior banco privado do País em ativos contabilizou margem financeira bruta de R$ 14,958 bilhões no terceiro trimestre, com queda de 2,5% ante o trimestre anterior e 1,6% em relação ao terceiro trimestre de 2025.

As despesas líquidas com provisões para devedores duvidosos (PDD) ficaram em R$ 7,460 bilhões, com queda de 2,5% ante o trimestre anterior e alta de 14,4% em 12 meses.

As receitas de prestação de serviços e tarifas bancárias atingiram R$ 5,417 bilhões, com alta de 1,6% no trimestre e baixa de 2,4% em 12 meses. Já as despesas gerais totalizaram R$ 6,383 bilhões, com redução de 3,0% no trimestre e queda de 0,6% em 12 meses.

O retorno sobre o patrimônio (ROE) - excluindo ágio - ficou em 11,9% no terceiro trimestre, ante 12,5% no segundo trimestre e 17,5% no terceiro trimestre de 2025. O índice de Basileia ficou em 15,1%, de 15,3% e 15,2%, na mesma base de comparação.
