A companhia conquistou o projeto Pelarco–Trueno, que prevê duas novas subestações e 21 quilômetros de linhas de transmissão na região do Maule, ao sul de Santiago, com energização prevista para 2031. Será a terceira concessão da Alupar no país.

Questionado se as oportunidades fora são mais atrativas pela indexação das receitas ao dólar, Godoy afirmou que a empresa “nunca corre risco de moeda” e isso não faz tanta diferença citando um custo de capital mais alto no Brasil.

Em relação à concorrência, afirmou que empresas que não costumam participar dos leilões de transmissão, como a Acciona e a Ferrovial, entram na competição demonstrando que a questão não é uma disputa com menos agentes.

A Alupar é uma holding brasileira que atua no país, no próprio Chile, mas também na Colômbia e Peru. Embora atue também com geração e comercialização de energia, o carro-chefe é transmissão que, no terceiro trimestre, respondeu por 80% da receita.
